CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS can't update to latest ROS

Hello!

I’m having issue with updating CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS to latest ROS, getting error that I need to free disk space as You can see in the picture bellow:

What could be the issue?

Tried both methods, by hitting download & install and placing update file in Files and restarting..

Same problem when try upgrade 6.49.17 => 7.12.1 => 7.17 on CCR2004 with error
upgrade failed, free 145 kB disk space for a (null)upgrade

From 6.49.17 to 7.12.1 upgrade is OK, but from 7.12.1 to 7.17 - NO.

Try this SOLUTION:

  1. upgrade step by step using download archive https://mikrotik.com/download/archive

  2. put file routeros-7.xx-arm64.npk to Files (Winbox) and reboot device

  3. upgrade step by step

Known issue

In last 7.17 deleted old CAPsMAN module… if you use upgraded config, you need download extra packages - all_packages-arm64-7.xx and put wireless-7.xx-arm64.npk to Files (Winbox).

Manual method worked up until version 7.14.3, I can’t upgrade to 7.15 or newest using auto or manual method. Any ideas?

I can confirm this solution works. I had the exact same issue and error in logs. My CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS had ROS 6.49.18. I upgraded to 7.12.1 along with RouterBOARD. Then using scp I uploaded the neccesary file from the archive and upgraded the ROS and RouterBOARD to 7.15. And repeated this through version by version till I finally upgraded to 7.19.3.
