can we get a ISO release for the BETA’s?
I would really like to test them out, but I can’t load them on a virtual machine (where I do all my initial testing before ever installing on any real systems) because I can’t do a netinstall on a VM, only a floppy or CD boot…
Can you use netinstall ? I’ve used netinstall previously… both with the vfd and a pxe boot.
we will update the download page so you could install using CD install.
last night new ISO arrived…and i did install this morning…but…!!!
has anyone success installing x86 v3-beta with CD-image [*.iso]
i tried around 6x, but not success…
last action reinstall with CDimage ..9.27 is …ok, just comparing

do you see any errors during the installation? can you try to install once more, and see if it works? we tested, it works.
yes, i saw an errors script e:g hotspot script failed… i saw around four errors but i didn’t remember.
but for compairing i try other version is ok…e.g …27 CDimage

ok, when you say no problem, i will try to other new machine one.. 
My experience with installing from ISO image into a QEmu virtual machine (where the 2.9.31 is running fine…):
Install will go through, system is rebooting, generating the SSH keys. Then after “Starting services…” I get a
Demo license expired!
Please reinstall the router.
connect failed (errno=2)
Shutting down...
Stopping services...
connect failed (errno=2)
System halted.
Will have to try on a “real” system now

yes, i did try it. maybe 6x and same problem. and reinstall v…27 is OKAY. !!
i tried same report display like your post, …tomorrow morning, i will try again with new machine.

this morning i am installing to new machine.
ok,…normis i think is enough to make install by CDimage, but the problem is same, maybe later i will try send/ask to support for the vBETA with CDimage
I have the same problem here in one dell poweredge 850.
The only way to install it is using netinstall?
I have tryed the netinstall now, without succes again. The netinstall says that could not found the harddrive.

Durring install, MANY packages report script error on install.
On reboot, “demo license expired” please reinstall router..

Looks like a scripting isue durring the setup system.
Also FYI…
2.X boot floppies dont work with 3X netinstall (target does not register)
3X floppies do not boot.. (boot error and lock)..
PXE (older drivers limit install hardware.)
Tried with 3 systems from 3 vendors (dell, SuperMicro, Intel) All same results..
Did get to install via PXE on a super micro (p4 HT) na it saw the HT cpu as 2 cores… but this is a known flakey system and it was holding true to this .. so had to shut it down, dont want to test beta code on a Cra@ machine…

I have tryed on my PE 850 with PXE without success.
The system boots, but dont recognize the SATA hd.
The machine doesn’t have any floppy drive then bootfloppy does not is one option.
The CD instalation does not work, after the boot I get the problem about the license.
I have tryed about ten times.

I tried the CD twice and then just threw it out…
I will just wait for a new iso build..

i did install with standard procedure and standard packages too, from CDboot.
please someone explain how you burn the images and how you install - the full process starting from downloading. we have tested and the CD images always work, so we must solve this with your help
