I’m,overall, happy with my lhgg lte6. But, every once in a while, it will switch over to a different cell it’ll set the wrong CA band as the primary one, which provides lower speeds. If I lock it to the EARFCN I want it to connect as the primary band, Carrier Aggregation stops working… On the Wiki (https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/LTE#Using_Cell_lock) it sais Carrier Aggregation works even when locked to a Cell. Both bands are coming from the same Cell (B1 and B20, B1 should be the primary). Any thoughts?
Carrier aggregation indeed works even if you use Cell lock.. I ve tried it my self and it works…
So there must be a reason that in your case prevents it from working…
What makes a band to be considered wrong ? In any cases in the general tab of the LTE interface you can choose only the Bands that your LTE interface will use…
Hello,
Same here. In automatic mode (CA2):
Primary : B20@10Mhz earfcn: 6300 phy-cellid: 5
CA Band: B3@20Mhz earfcn: 1348 phy-cellid: 420
But sometime connection dropped to B20@10Mhz earfcn: 6300 phy-cellid: 196 (without CA2 and very low speed).
After locking Primary on B3@20Mhz earfcn: 1348 phy-cellid: 420 (or B20@10Mhz earfcn: 6300 phy-cellid: 5) - CA Band not available (unable to find/or not working!?)
MCC/MNC - 24601.
