I don’t know if I’m in the right section since yesterday I joined the mikrotik community I bought a router my os “RouterOS v6.47.1 (stable)” I followed the instructions to change the language I filed on the FTP the language file by changing the extension as indicated but when I return to the web interface I do not see the choice of language I test by putting a second language but nothing to do someone could help me attention I am a beginner thank you very much in advance to the good soul who can help me

What instructions? This is the first time I hear about changing language in RouterOS. But it’s also true that I never looked for it. The only thing I was able to find is WebFig Skins and you really can rename/translate things using that. But resulting file is .json in “skins” directory, so nothing like you have. And I didn’t find any existing official or unofficial translations.
If you really want it for User Manager, it works (it only needs to upload Fr_FR.lng, as you already did). You can then choose the language in left menu:
But again, User Manager is only one optional package providing RADIUS server. It’s not even installed by default. The translation exists for UM, but not for whole RouterOS. Is that clear?
ok I see this is a service not installed so for the web interface it is not possible from what I understand because I have not got this file sorry if I do not understand everything I am starting with mikrotik I try to understand everything from the router for its that I wanted to put in French you could tell me where to find all the documentation of all the functions of the router
