Please take a look into this we can’t activate CHR license, there was a bad http response when you try to login your account in the renewal license dialog, thanks!!!
I’ve submitted a support ticket as well (actually 2, since one was for tech support, so I figured - why not submit a licensing ticket too?) and I noticed I had an unresponded-to ticket from November. Mildly frustrating.
You’re probably not alone, but 2 lost individuals posting here about their issues with the licensing server. According to this post (https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=203383#p1049653) just the minority of users is active here in the forum. So either this licensing issue does not exist, but from the logarithmic function: forum-user^posts√time there must be a greater number already reporting the issue to MT support already. But maybe still not a significant number - so maybe there are More important issues to fix first
I don’t disagree that there are more important things for sure. The only way someone would trip over this is by attempting to get a license, which with the Mikrotik platform itself is a rare occurrence. Certainly not lost though.
this cause us trouble because we have a scheduled deployment yesterday and send me 2 people in the DC doing nothing in the middle of the night in the end we pull out the server and will try again somewhere next week not really a big deal but a nuisance indeed
To work with CHR on a Google Cloud VM, I solved it by installing CHR v6.49.13. The activation worked the first time.
With the CHR v7.13.4 continued to cause many problems to activating the lincense.
