Cisco ASA 5516-X Firewall with FirePOWER services VS Mikrotik

Hi Guys,

I need some help here. I am looking for a mikrotik router that is almost the same capability and capacity with the Cisco ASA 5516-X with FirePOWER service.

  1. Is Mikrotik CCR1036-12G-4S almost the same capacity and capability with Cisco ASA 5516-X with FirePOWER service?
  2. What is the Stateful inspection throughput of Mikrotik CCR1036-12G-4S?
  3. What is the Triple Data Encryption Standard/Advanced Encryption Standard (3DES/AES) VPN throughput of the Mikrotik CCR1036-12G-4S?
  4. What is the Maximum IPsec site-to-site VPN peers for Mikrotik CCR1036-12G-4S?
  5. Can Mikrotik perform almost or near the capability and capacity of the Cisco ASA 5516-X Firewall?

The datasheet is incomplete. It doesn’t tell you about any benchmark test about IPSEC, Routing and many other things.
It doesn’t have information about ACL / Mangle rules capacity/Limit.
