After exporting your current configuration, you can easily edit it in any text editor. You have to change it manually, otherwise the import will fail.
Also, if you have fixed MAC addresses, you have to change them.
And make sure that you are running the same RouterOS.
Do you have (many) users configured? Because that is (one of the items that is) missing in the export.
[Update] @anav: won’t the import crash with incorrect values?
If the .rsc is pasted on the terminal it doesn’t “crash”…
It just highlights the errors, but it continues.
Just simply ignore all errors on wireless/wlan/lcd.
Also note that on the 2011 the WLAN interface is 2GHz and is called wlan1, while on the 4011 you have 2 WLAN interfaces, wlan1 is 5 GHz and wlan2 is 2 GHz.
So to migrate your 2 GHz config from 2011 to 4011 you need to edit all wlan1 in your export to wlan2.
But you have a RM version so that does not apply in this case (I mention it for others only).
I have been able to migrate my 2011 config to my 4011 this way, but in general I would advise against it.
It is better to export the config and keep it as notes, then start your 4011 from scratch.
Update the software to the version you want to use, THEN reset it to defaults (AFTER the update and reboot), and work from there.
Do only the config you see in your export, but not e.g. the firewall. Leave that as default and only add any rules you are sure that you need.
Other config can be copied/pasted when it is a lot of typing work and you know it is safe to do.
