Question. Should the CPU usage shown in the Profile tool match the CPU usage shown in Winbox and shown in the /System Resources section?
I am trying to track down a CPU usage issue http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/replaced-5yr-old-x86-with-chr-less-than-impressed/129612/1 and I am having a hard time because the CPU usage between Profile and Resources do not match.
When I total all the items listed in Profile it shows cpu0 using 23% but under /system resources it shows cpu0 using 46%. Which is correct?

If I do an internal UDP btest to 127.0.0.1 the CPU usage in Profile and Resources then do match and show 100%. I am confused.
So sometimes the Profile listed usage and the Resource listed usage are within a few % but at other times they can be 20-30% off from each other.
Right now Winbox/Resource listed usage is 47%. When looking at the usage under /system resources per core It is as follows.
cpu0 - 44
cpu1 - 44
cpu2 - 36
cpu3 - 64
So add them all together and divide by 4 you get 47%
Then during the same time the profile tool listed usage as follows
ethernet - 7.0
firewall - 4.8
management - 0.6
networking - 11.8
queuing - 2.0
routing - 5.2
unclassified - 0.8
winbox - 0.0
Total - 32.2%
So which is correct? It is not a lag thing where the profile tool lags a few seconds behind the resource listed usage as at times it is always on average 10-20% lower. For example I can watch the winbox listed usage be reaching 60% usage and the Profile tool listed usage never gets above 35-40%
