So I have a CRS125-24G-1S-IN that currently doe’s all my routing, switching, DHCP and DNS. I have a vSphere server however so I wanted to spin up a VM and run DHCP and DNS on a Windows Server. After enabling the DHCP scope on the server and disabling the scope on the MikroTik I consistently loose pings to both the host and all of it’s VM’s. I changed settings in ESXi, DHCP snooping isn’t running. I cannot figure out why enabling a DHCP scope on a server causes network connectivity issues.
Help me out, what is happening? It’s like the MikroTik is blocking the port as soon as it sees it handing out DHCP requests.
