CRS226 throughput problem - only 28Mbps

Hi,
I have symetric 100 Mbps WAN connected to CRS226-24G-2S+ v 6.30 and under speed test (from laptop on speedtest.net) I have only 28 Mbps throughput !
I’ve checked without CRS and WAN is full speed 100 Mbps.
I have only one NAT rule:

[bertj@R1_CRS] > ip firewall nat pr
Flags: X - disabled, I - invalid, D - dynamic
 0 chain=srcnat action=masquerade to-addresses=0.0.0.0 dst-address=!10.9.22.0/24 out-interface=ether3-WAN log=no log-prefix=""
[bertj@R1_CRS] >

Under test the CPU usage is about 90 %.
There is no queue configured.
What do I wrong ??
Is there any possibility to do this better, or only must have to buy CCR?

Thanks for help!

buy a CCR

crs 226 its a switch not a router use it accordingly

A CRS can do much more than 28 Mbps. Try enabling fasttrack (search for the fasttrack topic on this forum).

Have you looked at the following? It might be the same problem: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/crs125-24g-1s-2hnd-in-vlan-preformance-from-wiki/84210/1

Also, as already stated above, using the CRS226 as a router really isn’t it’s intended purpose.

Thanks for info,
I’ve changed queue to ethernet-defaults according this post http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/crs125-24g-1s-2hnd-in-vlan-preformance-from-wiki/84210/1 and its better:
Download 51Mpbs
Upload 48Mpbs
CPU Load 49%

It’s not full speed, but queue is the issue.

Best Regards.

I used fasttrack and speed is the same, only CPU load is less about 38% under testing.
So only option is to buy CCR.
Thanks

If CPU is not 100% problem is not hardware, but configuration or testing method problem, i suggest to write to Support@mikrotik.com

When running the tests, open up a tools → profile before doing so. It will tell you which process is using the CPU.

I do agree with the statement that if you are only seeing 38% load, your problem is not CPU load and thus in theory you should be seeing much higher throughput.

Are all the ports you are testing through correctly connected at 1Gbps?
