I have bought this switch and PoE will not work in either routeros or switchos. All ports are showing “short circuit” even when nothing is plugged in. I have upgraded SWOS & RouterOS to latest versions but still the same. Curently i have one Unifi AP Pro plugged in with a 0.5M cat6 cable (it works on other switches no issue)
Forcing the power on the led on the switch just flashes RED. Is there an issue with my switch?

All ports short circuit ? No that is not normal…
Unplug everything and let only your computer connected.. reset to no configuration and see if the problem remains …
Thanks for the response, I have completed the full reset and still the same. One further investigation when i go into health check the PSU voltage and amperage is showing as 0.0. Surely this should be showing 240v and some amount of amps?
No, it should show PSU output, so about 24V for first PSU, about 48V for second PSU.
Update: I used netinstall app to wipe flash and reinstall swos from scratch. PoE worked perfect for approx 2 to 3 mins and showed voltages in health section but then just dropped and now back to the old way.
It seems there is a hardware problem…
I believe so, If i open the unit to test the 48v and 24v voltages going to each of the cards would that void warranty i wonder. I would defo know then if it was a HW or SW issue but don’t want to open if will void warranty.
Send it for replacement…
