CRS328-24P-4S+ S+RJ10 Port Overheat

Have a CRS328-24P-4S+ (7.19.1) utilizing 2x S+RJ10 modules, one running at 5Gbps the other running at 2.5Gbps. About 15 minutes after plugging in a third S+RJ10 Module for a short (25foot patch cord) 10Gbps Copper connection, switch fan speeds start to increase until it reaches 9000 rpm (normal is 6700 rpm), sfp temperature jumps to 75-80 C (normal is 68 C) and after about 4 hours 10Gbps copper port freaks out and shuts down while other two SFP+ modules remain active. Have tried swapping ports / modules, patch cords, removing all but one sfp+ module but issue appears to be with 10Gbps copper connection speeds

Other end of 10Gbps copper connection is a Marvell AQtion 10Gbit LAN Network Adapter running in a Ubuntu/Zorin OS System.

S+RJ10 is famous for running real hot… so be very careful how you position it. As indicated in that link.

We have modified all cases of devices where we use RJ10+, we put fans that extracts air above the SFP+s. and we solved the issue with temperature.
