CRS510-8XS-2XQ No Auto Negotiate for 10Gtek 25G SFP28 SR Transceiver Mellanox MMA2P00-AS

So tried a few settings like fec91, etc and nothing will work with these 10Gtek 25G SFP28 SR Transceiver Mellanox MMA2P00-AS transceivers in my CRS510-8XS-2XQ with router OS 7.19.2.

If I set to not auto-negotiate and put 10gb baseSR LR it comes right up.

Also tried setting “ignore rx LOS” to yes and no luck their either.

The client is a MS-01 with Intel x710 SFP+ adapter.

I tried the following transceivers:
10Gtek 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceiver
Sodola 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceivers
and several others with no luck with auto-negotiate turned on - had to turn it off on all of them to get the 10gb link to come up.

I put a 10Gtek 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceiver in the CRS510 and tested with that and it came right up with auto negotiate at 10Base-SR.

I use these transceivers in Mellanox Cards also and have not had a problem with them coming up @25GbaseSR LR or 10GbaseSR LR. I use the same 10Gtek 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceiver on other switches to include the CRS326-24S+2Q+RM. Unfortunately other than the CRS510 I don’t have any other Mikrotik Switches to test with @25gb. I have tested them in a Mellanox 2410/2700 running cumulus and they seem to work fine also.

I saw a couple of posts about this and it suggesting using fec91 but that did not work either.

I ordered a couple of 10Gtek 25G SFP28 SFP+ SR Transceiver - Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S transceivers to see if they will auto-negotiate or not as well.

Any suggestions on some alternate settings to get this transceiver to work?

Let me know if I need to open a ticket.

Thanks

Still no luck - I can’t even get it to auto-negotiate with the Cisco transceivers and it does not matter if it is a workstation or a switch. I tried CRS510 to Mellanox with various 10GBase-SR transceivers. I tried CRS510 to CRS326-24S, CRS10 to CCR2216, CRS510 to CRS504 with various 10Gbase-SR transceivers and it simply will not negotiate properly and I have to turnoff auto-negotiate and set it to 10Gbase-SR.

Is this a known issue with the newer Mikrotik Switches?

I have the same symptoms on coming from 25Gbase-SR transceivers on a CCR2216 to Mellanox, and all the same CRS models. I have to turn off auto-negotiate and set it to 10Gbase-SR to get the link to come up.
