Crystalfontz 634 LCD problem

Hello,

I have the CFA-634 v2.3 serial LCD, I have tried every single combination but all I get is garbage, on windows works perfectly fine.

Can someone enlighten me?

Did you try type=20x4? LCD must have baud rate 9600.

I tested about 400 combinations, 20x4 and all the CFA-xxx I tested all combinations 9600, 2400, 19200, flow control all options tested, etc.

with the cfa-633 it shows garbage on top and bellow but on the middle I could see some info like cpu speed, but after a couple of seconds all garbage symbols

There is a switch on the back side of this LCD, it must be set on 9600 baud rate (1-down;2-up) to work in RouterOS.
Have you checked it?
