I work for an ISP and we have been “playing” with a routerboard as a possible option for CPE equipment for our Triple Play offering. The issue we have run into is one piece of our access equipment, an Active Ethernet Access Shelf, does not play well with the RouterOS DHCP-Client’s use of Broadcast Offers from our DHCP server. All of our current access equipment uses the Bootp flag as 0x0000 (unicast). However I am unable to find if this is configurable in RouterOS. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
