That’s great if the DHCP client is running on the ether interface however if the DHCP client is running on a VLAN interface then the DHCP client doesn’t renew.
Without scripting is there a fix for this?

Using short interval for ip assignment? Maybe not the best idea but will work.
That’s not a fix and I don’t have control over the DHCP server as I’m not the service provider
