DHCP issue

RouterOS Beginner Basics

I have RouterOS v5 on my PC (Which has 2 Ethernet interfaces) I have ether1 for the WAN connection and the other for the LAN.

when add the DHCP-client “which should be detected automatically”, the status shows “searching”

I have tried and connected the WAN connection directly to a pc and it’s working
what am I missing?? please help.

What are you connecting to (cable modem, adsl,etc)?

it’s a satellite connection “provided by Tooway” and there is authentication needed. Please Help.
