DNS Servers changing order

Hi

Ive finally deployed my first Mikrotik hotspot and have noticed a small problem.

Under IP servers I have listed : 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123 (OpenDNS Family shield) to block porn etc. However, when the unit is rebooted , it keeps putting the upstream dhcp server as the DNS Server, removing all content filtering.

How do you force the Mikrotik to always use the preferred DNS servers first?

Set the ‘use-peer-dns’ option to ‘no’ on your DHCP client.

use-peer-dns (yes | no; Default: yes) Whether to accept the DNS settings advertised by DHCP Server. (Will override the settings put in the /ip dns submenu.
