How do I assign a domain name to my mikrotik router.
I do not want to open the router in explorer using the ip but through a domain name.
IS it possible and if so how??
I need to assign domain because I keep changing my isp and some of my friends access the routerboard as well, but if the ip is changed I have to inform them. Giving a domain will make this easy.
Yes, you can do. In wiki.mikrotik.com you have some examples like no-ip, dyndns, changeip, etc.

no-ip or change ip or dyndns is what goes on with a 3rd party server.
I want some method where I purchase a domain & tag it with my router. I have public static ip’s from my isp.
need to tag in the domain name with that ip.
Then, you just have to put your static ip address, in your no-ip account.
I use it like that, with 3 of my mikrotik devices, with static ip also.
Nothing more to do !!!
