Dual band indoor solution (3x3 MiMo)... is something coming?

Hi guys,
first I want to thank Mikrotik team for their rb751g-2hnd, which is working perfectly in almost 17 flats for more than a year without any issue. I know there have been some issues with speed, yet I and my neighbors are fine.. running 300 Mbps

On the other hand the 2.4 GHz is heavily crowded and some 5 GHz SOHO router will be fine. Is mikrotik working on some indoor solution or is it still less important stuff, than outdoor units? I’m asking because I would like to cover some clients with dual band routers and with 3x3 MiMO it is impossible to create solution from Mikrotik. All better cards are Mini PCI-e, but in there isn’t any routerboard with at least two Gigabit ports and two Mini PCI-e slots.

Buying them two RB800 will be quite overkill

I know you can’t reveal all your future products, yet you can PM me or at least give me hint. Otherwise I have to look somewhere else, which I don’t want to

Would really love to see a dual band consumer product too. Give me a fast CPU (600MHz+), GigE ports, 128MB RAM, dual band 802.11n (at least 2x2) and I’ll be a happy camper . Putting together something with individual parts is so much more expensive and impractical.

You’re right … RB433GL + 2x R52N-M + 4x pigtail + 4x antenna + POE + casing = too much :frowning:

and I’m afraid that for the future, there will be no possibility to upgrade. I see lack of minipci 3x3 or 802.11ac cards, since all manufacturers are going for Mini PCIe format.

It is outdoor. But, you can use it in indoor.
