Dude on RB1100

I want to load Dude on a RB1100AH. I have downloaded the npk file for ppc and uploaded. After reboot, the package still remains under file list (just will not install). I have tried similar idea with RB750 and result in a complete crash of Router OS until I did a hard reset of the routerboard. I have searched everywhere to find answers to no avail. Will somebody tell me if there is an issue and more interesting a solution to this problem.

Can you include a screen shot of your file list? Make sure the dude npk file is in the root directory. Which version of the Dude are you trying to install? Which Router OS Version are you using?

I have the same problem, the dude don’t want to connect with my RB1100 AHx2.

Dude is buggy on Routerboards, but works almost OK on e.g. Windows machine. Even if you are able to run Dude on RB’s, you will not be able to export your configuration on 99% of boards (crash). I don’t recommend Dude on routerboards.

You may need to downgrade the RouterOS version, get the Dude working, and then try to upgrade the RouterOS version. Sometimes, it just comes down to finding a the right combination of hardware and software for what you are trying to do. If 6.7 is not required for your project, go ahead and downgrade it and see if that resolves the problem.
