I stop receiving email notifications from the forum.mikrotik.com around 4-5 days ago. Was there any change in the forum or is there any issue with this service, please?
Target email address is my email address in the profile.
Is there any action required from my side to get the email notifications working as previous, please? Or should be my issue addressed somewhere else - like to support team?
I did check on that. At the moment hard so say why you are not receiving notifications about replies. I did some maintenance tasks in the background, We'll see how upcoming notifications behave.
There are still problems here. The forum has been incredibly slow to load, often needing several attempts to get a page to render [ipv6 if that is relevant]. The forum started loading properly recently, although I didn't register that the emails had stopped. Today I see the emails are working again, but the forum is again slow.
Although the emails are marked as solved, I respectfully suggest that the underlying problem remains.
These two issues seem unrelated. Can't say that I've noticed loading issues. Initial page load is not instantaneous (due to how discourse works/loads) but it loads relatively quick. Don't have ipv6 setup to test with at the moment thou. Will test that a bit later. Need to recreate HE-tunnel/VM for ipv6 use.
They are related by user experience. I can't be precise about acceptable loading correlating with no emails, but it seems close enough. But I am sure that reinstating the emails correlates with poor loading.
Looks to be working as expected. I see no issues on with scheduling since that rebuild. Per email log I can also see that system is sending out notification mails regularly.
@DjM In this case the cause was that notifications emails for your user had exceeded max allowed notification count per day. Which at the moment is 100 per-user/per-day. I see that some notifications were skipped by system during last 24h because of that.
Total count most like was also impacted by scheduler starting to work yesterday morning. As it did send out notification backlog (part of it that I hadn't purged during testing for the problem).
@DuctView So far I can't reproduce the issue that you reported, including on ipv6-only host. Been browsing for a while not-logged/logged-in and responsiveness of forum seems fine.
