I keep getting the same error on all versions of the dude. So either it is a compatibility issue or its the simply my OS does not support the dude. I am using Windows ME (don’t ask why lol) it says it is compatible somewhere (I think). Anyway I recievethe following message.

I found and downloaded that DLL, I put it in the system 32 folder, strait in C drive and in the application folder. But still no luck … could someone please shed some light on this issue.
Jon
For the DLL problem, give this page a look, http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms681987(VS.85).aspx.
As to the other problem with the non-functioning device, look for the faultlog.txt, or try running Dr Watson in the background. Unfortunately ME does not have an Event Viewer like later versions of MS OS, so tracking down the problem may more difficult. You can Google Event Viewer and WinME and there are some links to a 3rd party Event Viewer that may work with ME to help resolve this issue.
I’d really have to say that ME is not the best choice for an OS for The Dude, or much of anything else for that matter.
Yeah I know I hate ME … its just on an old computer in thr corner of the room kind of being used as a network management system.
But not to worry have it working in a not so great but working. Have it on our server and viewing it via firefox. Our problem is we want the map full screen but everytime the page refreshes it refreshes the page and the tool bar comes back into view and half the map is off the screen.
Anyhow I might make a different topic about that.
Thanks for the advice
Jon
