why is the ether1 not running please i need it urgently whether is from my customer or from my base station.

ether1 will only indicate running (‘R’) when it is connected to another operational ethernet port. It appears the other end of that ethernet cable may not be plugged in, or the other device is powered down.
Yeah ! thank you, before your response came in . i’d already located the problem that its from the POE short cable to the linksys router.
