Ethernet duplex not following settings on boot?

Hello,

I’ve noticed a problem with multiple 433AH’s, in that I hard set an ethernet port to 100/full, no autonegotiate, but when I plug it into a switch (Cisco 3524, also hard set to 100 full), the mikrotik will set itself to 100/half. I can look, the checkboxes are as they should be, and I must manually uncheck the full duplex box, apply, check the full duplex box, and apply again. This will remain fixed until the next reboot.

Any ideas why this might be going on? I thought at first it might have been a fluke, but it’s fairly consistent in not coming up right.

TIA!

Are you sure full-duplex is on both devices?

Try simple test, connect RB433 one port to another with the same settings, full-duplex and auto-negotiation off.
Do you get the same results?

We have made tests by ourselves, it seems you are right about the full/half duplex, we will see what we can do.

I see RouterOS 4.6 came out, but I don’t see anything about this in the changelog. When do you guys anticipate having this issue resolved?

This still isn’t fixed on 4.12. What can I do to help get this banged out? This is causing some serious problems when we have reboots on routers running ospf and we drop packets and sessions due to packet loss over busy links.
