FastNetMon - DDoS detection tool compatible with Mikrotik

Hello!

I’m lead of FastNetMon project and I really glad to say “Hi” to Mikrotik users!

We’re developing DDoS detection tool and offer open source (FastNetMon Community) and commercial (FastNetMon Advanced) editions.

FastNetMon could detect DDoS attack on your networks and trigger custom actions to automatically mitigate it (script call, API call, BGP Unicast announce, BGP Flow Spec announces) and save your calm night sleep

And we have a long list of success stories with Mikrotik!

For last few years our community made a bunch of nice talks at different events (including few at MUM!)

We have complete integration with Mikrotik’s API contributed by Maximiliano Dobladez.

Also, I would recommend this awesome guide http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/fastnetmon-integration-with-mikrotik-ddos-detection-software/111647/1 by Rafael Carvallo. It’s very clear and detailed!

Finally, you could start install process for community version right now or request free trial for FastNetMon Advanced!

Let me know if you need any help!

Thanks Pavel for your contribution!

M.

Thanks to your for contributing things for FastNetMon!

Hello,

I have micro isp with around 500 users and up to 300mbit of traffic. Right now I am manually broadcasting via bgp:666 targeted IP to my upstream isp, but it takes time. Should You suggest community or full version for me? I was playing with fastnetmon last night, but I screw something and will start again…

Hello!

Sorry for the delay in response. Both versions should work very well for you. Advanced one provides out of the box BGP integration but for community one you need to configure BGP daemon manually. BGP integration covered in details in our quick start guide for Advanced version: https://fastnetmon.com/advanced-quick-start/

Hello Pavel,

I already installed community version, and adjusted Maximiliano’s plugin to exchange bgp community with my isp. I still didn’t have ddos, so I don’t know how well it works. I tested with LOIC and HOIC and it works.

BR…

Great news! Thanks for update
