I have no clue if I can/should be using fast track.

I am using firewall for NAT, hairpin NAT, port forwarding. Also mangling packets for QoS/queues. I have a queue for PLEX traffic, then a queue for everything else.

From what I read, I can’t use fasttrack as it skips any processing.. so I’m curious, when would fasttrack be useful? Isn’t that essentially turning your router into a switch if it can’t do any logic?

You can use fasttrack for traffic that should not be catched by queues. If all traffic must pass the queues then you cannot use fasttrack.
