Now radius timeout has a limit of 10s maximum, and it’s 3s by default. Please increase this upper limit, and possibly the default, as 3s is not enough IMO.
10s is not enough?!? you have serious problems with your RADIUS =)
Just on a sidenote, the RADIUS RFC (in the section about why they chose UDP) specifically mentions that the typical user is only willing to wait ‘several seconds’. If a RADIUS server takes longer than 10s to respond, as a user I’d consider it broken.
30 seconds would be fine for me. This timeout is only needed for peak loads when 1000 users reconnect simultaneously after router reboot.
