Feature Request: Main login page - Company contact, and display of Router ID

I know that many before me have requested something like this (As that is what I am seeing on my searches).
BUT, so far it is only available by getting the “Brandy Maker”, which I am told is only available to distributors, and resellers.

What is truly needed is for the main login page to supply some information to those that land on it, say by accident, or those IT personal that are working on a network of multiple routers (all of the same type, and having the same version number)

You have a location in the main Router OS menu where the “Identity” of the router is supplied by the owner of it.

Why can’t a location on the right hand side of the login page, underneath the Mikrotik logo, have
that router identity information shown, along with 2 lines that could be programmed there with the Owner of the router,
and their Phone number. (That information could be configured by going to the “identity” page, and having 2 additional lines there for it. 1 line for company name, 1 line for contact number !)

All is needed is a change in the HTML on the login page to then display that information!

NOTE: The information on the existing router login page asks you to contact the Administrator, if you come across this device by accident. BUT, it does not provide you any information on how to do that ?

I know this is not exactly what you want, but there is

where you can type a message as you describe. It is for a terminal session though…make the admins login with ssh or similar :smiley:

Not what I am looking for !

Login page, already says to contact the administrator is you view this! Needs to display a company name and contact number to provide that on the login page. Also the “Identity” of the router needs to be displayed, BEFORE you should have to login to look for that.

This is a simple request, should be easy to provide it!

Try to ask your distributor to make a branding package for you.

or.. is it possible to send you personal message? If not, give me your e-mail via personal message…

I can see where the branding package would allow me to put the Company name and contact number on the router, BUT, what about having a line that shows the “Identity” of the router on the login page ?

would be helpful. especially for devices installed in public places around several other companies assets so anyone would know who they should contact and how (in any relevant case).
