fiber pigtail connector

Hello!

I got a new RB 3011 and I have never used the SFP connector before. I would like to set it with a fiber ADSL connection I got. So I found around the office a fiber adaptor that fits with no problems in the mikrotik SFP connector but I cannot insert the kind of connector Im receiving from Movistar.
I dont know its name, so Im putting a picture:

So basically my question is what do I have to buy? Im taking a look here:
https://mikrotik.com/products/group/interfaces

Thanks in advance!

Better is a cable than a adapter

What kind of SFP module do you have in the router?

I think he is talking about gpon. Have a look in this thread:

Thanks jprietove… indeed I’m from Spain and having Movistar as ISP, after reading the five pages of that thread I have come to the conclusion that better I’ll keep my ONT as bridge and connect the WAN through RJ45… I would like to get rid of the Movistar device but I don’t fully understand the workarounds that are being given and looks like Mikrotik is not supporting on this.

One question that maybe you can help me with: I will need to order another 2 internet lines to Movistar, is there a way I can ask for a fiber connection that would be suitable to be plugged directly in the Mikrotik? These lines are for a datacenter, not domestic use, so I wonder how the other companies manage, I didn’t see in the “neighbours” racks anything like Movistar ONT… I guess they are terminating the fiber directly to the routers, how do they manage?

Just use Movistar ont as a Bridge. Ir is the usual way for ftth. Imho
