First Ethernet Interface stop working

Hi,

I have an RB951Ui-2HnD (http://routerboard.com/RB951Ui-2HnD)

It has 5 port on it.
It is runing on version 6.0rc14
I had it for about a week now and the first port was working fine. But at some point stoped working, I still see the interface in WinBox but if i plug a cable in it I will never be able to get the interface reachable nor have the port 1 led indicator to light up

Could it be just a single setting somewhere, that is causing this ? I reseted Configuration a few time, Is there something else that im missing ?

Say me if there is any information missing in this post to help resolving this issue

Check if it is not just disabled. Anyway, install 6.13 instead your 6.0rc…

I upgraded my router to 6.13 this morning but still get the issuie.
And port is not disabled or at least that I know off.

How can I see if port is disabled ? If I go in WinBox and go in Interfaces I see Ether1 in black font colour and it not gray
is there any other place I should look ?

That’s how it should look like. Also some letter should be there on left. Sure the port can be dead, but try other cable, different device on the opposite side, play with auto negotiation. Set 10Mhd manually on both sides…

Is it frequent that port died ? Like I said I had the router for about a week now,.

Then you can return it to the dealer. Its only complicated and sensitive device. Every such thing can be broken. Also faulty manufactured…
