There are 4 buttons under left sidebar. 
button is directly related to sidebar, because it allows to add new sections. 3 other buttons (mode, theme, keyboard shortcuts) are not related to sidebar at all and have nothing common with it. But when you hide sidebar, all these buttons also disappear. It's very unlogical, inconvenient and stupid. You may have sidebar hidden and you may want to change mode/theme or view shortcuts, when sidebar is hidden, but you can't do that. Instead, you need to first enable sidebar, do/view what you need, and then hide sidebar again.
@krisjanis or anyone from MT, if possible, please detach these buttons (except button) from sidebar and make them always visible. The best place I see for them is top right corner near search/user profile icons, there is plenty of free space.
