Forwarding HTTPS to Web proxy

Dear all,

I have a problem when following https port 443 to web proxy port 8080 to track web browsing history, all https website are not working. While by the same method the forwarding of http port 80 is working well.

NAT
Chain: dstnat
Protocol: 6 tcp
Destination port: 80, 443
Action: redirect
Port: 8080

Please, what is the correct method to forward the https port to web proxy?

There is no correct method. What you’re trying to achieve is not possible.

A bit more information on this.

The purpose of encrypted communication is to only show yo what IP you are connecting. The rest is encrypted so no peeking.

If you use MITM then you can see all traffic but that not quite legal if it is traffic from not only yourself.
