"frequency-offset"??

What does that mean? What is it doing?
I have a ´frequency-offset=-2200´.
“-2200”?

“offset”? From what? I have no offset configured. My AP works on the frequency it works on.

MT, PLEASE explain more about all wireless settings in 5.x series.
Also, PLEASE explain which setting has meaning under NV2 and which not.

what can I say … RTFM

this setting is for using with XR9 and similar cards, to have correct frequency shown in RouterOS

OK, indeed all my MT cards show “0” where my only ´foreign´ card I have, a DBII-pro, the freq. off-set is -2200

So if I understand well this means this card works at m chosen freq. +2200. I my case this would be 5200+2200=7400Mz?

Why would cards work at such freq’s and a converter is needed to get the proper freq you need?
This is not a MT issue but I am wondering why this is. Anybody has an answer for me?

open up the winbox frequency dropdown and you will see what frequency you have with the offset that is configured in the wireless menu from the frequency-offset value.
