The 2.4GHz network have better bandwith then 5.0GHz. Does anyone have the same? ? On the 2.4GHz i test by speedtest and I have 48 Mbps and on 5.0GHz a have a 10 Mbps
Device is connected by CAPsMAN.
On other Device HAP AC i have good download speed.
Newer wifi cards works fine. Speedtest on my phone Xiaomi mi4c show 120/120Mbit (Download/Upload) on 5GHz
But older wifi cards (intel 7260 and 3160) on laptops have slow download speed. Speedtest show 10-20/110-120MBit (Download/Upload) on 5GHz
Same cards works fine with hAP AC Lite on 5GHz
I have a similar problem.
hAP ac2 (RBD52G-5HacD2HnD-TC), 6.41.3., 5GHz
There are several devices, each of which I connect to apac 2 on 5GHz.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
iPhone 6
iPad mini 2
Asus ZenBook UX310UA (Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260)
The data plan from the provider is 100 Mbps.
When you run speedtest, the first three devices show a speed close to a maximum of 90-95 Mbps. Asus ZenBook UX310UA only 10-20 Mbps.
The channel speed at all approximately identical, Tx / Rx 433Mbps and more.
This problem also occurs when copying files over the network.
The old equipment “mi wifi router 3”, speeds problem was not.
I have the same issues, they persist with 6.42rc52.
2 Ghz receiving throughput is about 130 Mbit/s. On 5 Ghz I get only about 30 Mbit/s, with the client connected at 866 Mbit/s. The cAP ac based on the same chip has similar issues, there is another thread about that.
i have cap ac managed by capsman (chr on server). i have tested hap ac2 connect to cap ac 5ghz. udp bandwith cca 500mbit tcp cca 270mbit both ways. both devices have latest rc52.
