hap ac lite can't connect to another AP

i re-did the config again, but this time i resetted the hap to factory default with no initial configuration, so it’s completely empty.
did only minimum config:
-dhcp client on wlan1
-wlan 1 in station mode.

result: can connect to wifi, hap get IP.

then i put wlan1 into station-pseudobridge. it connected. still have ip.
wlan1 in station-pseudobridge-clone: constant connect disconnect with log saying “lost connection found address clone”. then connected again. and then disconnect again.

next i added a bridge and put lan1 and wlan1 in bridge.
the dhcp client went red , and my pc was still not getting ip , regardless if the wlan1 was in station or station-pseudobridge mode.
turned off now.

" i don’t have any mikrotik ac indoor devices" > … if the WLAN interfcae “Installation” is set to “indoor”, it will not see the other (outdoor) frequencies.

ah, no, i meant i don’t have any FREE ac device. i have outdoor (sxt ac) but mounted and in use so can’t take them for testing purposes. i really like mikrotik outdoor devices, but indoor are just toys.

i call it a day. i spend over 2 hours on this thing not moving anywhere and not getting the expected results. i’m going to return the hap and take a tp-link dual band router. they are super easy to get openwrt running, and client mode on them just works. c20 is around 20 eur here.
thank you people trying to help but i don’t know how to setup what i want, and i don’t want to spend anymore of mine and your time. the most easy thing to do is just buy a tplink and finish the story.

the dhcp client went red

If you did let the DHCP-Client on the slave interface (wlan) obviously it did…
My simple suggestion, is unless you need Layer 2 connectivity, forget about any Bridge Mode and use Station Mode…
Then configure the Hap as a Router…
