Hi,
some time ago I bought hAP ac lite (Mikrotik RouterBOARD RB952Ui-5ac2nD-TC) in order to use it as a client device to “convert” Wifi to ethernet for various devices (e.g. get rid of having to solve wifi device and drivers for each device).
Struggling a little bit with this:

I was finally advised to use QuickSet and CPE
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Quickset
Which worked. For an unknown reason I only lost the access to http://192.168.88.1 but did not care as the rest was working…
Unfortunately I need to change some settings and I cannot return my Mikrotik to the default settings. Tried suggested procedures:
- unplug power
- hold RES button
- plug power
- wait until ACT flashes and then stop flash (with ACT and PWR on green) release the RES button
- wait 20 seconds.
and also
- unplug the USB cable to power off
- hold the RES button with a pen
- plug power (keep holding button)
- when ACT LED starts flashing, release button
- wait some 15-20 seconds and ACT LED will flash twice, it means process is finished

although in my case there is not ACT but USR light. Everything seems to work - the device apparently reboots but I cannot connect to the http://192.168.88.1 (no matter if I use eth3 or eth1 port and WebFig, tried WinBox and same).
any ideas? I expected this to return the Mikrotik to the same condition as after unboxing…
