My core router at home the hAP ac2 crashes nearly every week. Sometime the hAP reboots automaticaliy sometime he stopped working.
I thought that the router reboots automatically via the watchdog, if he is not responding for some time.
Im using the newest version 6.45.6. I thappens also with the stable version.
Does someone has the same problem?

Do you have a spare powersupply that you can test with?
different power supply and still the same
There is also no Supout File after crashing
make sure you maintain proper ventilation for that that device, is certified only up to 50C°, thats 20°C lower than other mikrotik devices
avoid putting it near other devices that generate heat such as cablemodems onu / ont etc
avoid putting it on surfaces that favor concentrating heat such as blankets or quilted materials
avoid direct sunlight warm or hot surfaces
The heat should not be a problem. Its in the storeroom. There is a temperature around 14 Degree.
How do you know it crashes / stops working ?
My hAP ac2 kept crashing after I got it (came with 6.42.3). At that time I was extensively using switch-chip functionality (VLAN filtering in particular). Then I changed two things at the same time: upgraded to ROS 6.44betaX and reconfigured it so that it doesn’t rely on switch-chip functions (i.e. started to use bridge vlan-filtering). It has been rock solid since then (that was in february this year).
i get the error in the log: router was rebooted without proper shutdown
I have one of those with uptime of one year, so wouldn’t say its general issue, maybe rma it and ask for replacement? Or talk to mikrotik support first.
