hAP ax3 - Lost both wifi and access to the system

Hello, I have just starting setting up my new hAP ax3 router. I have been able to connect to its wifi, change its password, and I wanted to change its default IP address when I lots any access (the interface was not responding.

I have tried powering it off and on, resetting it… It doesn’t start the wifi and if I reach it in bridge mode through my previous router’s network, I can access the login page but I can’t login, neither with the factory password, the new password I gave it nor a void password. In other words, there is no way I can access its interface.

Can someone give me some hint ?

EDIT : I can’t access the interface. It was in the cache of the browser but after restarting the browser, I can’t access it.

EDIT2 : I can now access the interface under an address given by the old router in DHCP. I might be able to figure out something.

Have you read the first time config doc : First Time Configuration - RouterOS - MikroTik Documentation

Nope, I will read it. Right now, I have a “no connection to CAPsMAN” message for the wireless, which I have hard time understanding.

If you fiddled with the reset button, you may have put the device in CAPS mode accidentally.

Check this:

Besides, use Winbox, not Webfig (the html through your browser), read:

or better: hAP ax³ - User manuals - MikroTik Documentation

Thanks for your help ! I could set up my dhcp network. What surprises me is that I can’t maintain my network if I delete address 192.168.88.1. I had to keep it in addition to 192.168.1.1 in order to set up the dhcp on range 192.168.1.0/24.

Now having some hard time figuring how to create NAT rules for my self-hosted system. But I presume I’ll eventually make it.

I finally did it, even the hairpinning (which took me a little while).
