hAP LTE6 lite and Zerotier?

hello,

bought a hap lte6 lite , tried to install zerotier, but no success?
its listed as ARM 64 device on the website

  • upgraded to 7.11 stable (factory was 7.:sunglasses:
  • downloaded arm64 extra package
  • uploaded zerotier package in files
  • rebootet
  • after reboot… package is gone from files, but no zerotier on side .. and terminal zerotier/ not working

what is wrong? because lte mostly always cgnat i need zerotier or tailscale

log shows
“can not install zerotier-7.11: it is not made for arm, but for arm64”

but website shows arm64??

there is no device with that exact name “hap lte6 lite”

please specify exact reference of your device

If you mean the new hAPaxLite-LTE6 aka L41G-2axD, that is 32-bit:
https://mikrotik.com/product/hap_ax_lite_lte6

And you need the ARM ZeroTier package. I’m not sure ANY of the LTE6 things use 64-bit processors – some don’t even use ARM even, which means no ZeroTier

Pretty easy to install ARM version from extra-packages to see if that works…

Yeah, i noticed that too.
https://mikrotik.com/product/hap_ax_lite_lte6

here it is listed as arm64 under specs, not arm.
so i used the arm version now, but its not working.

but still unable to ping or connect to 192.168.88.1 when using zerotier

Someone might know for sure, but I think the chip is ARM64, but runs a 32-bit RouterOS. The logs do know what platform package it needs, but I can see the confusion…

Re ZT, Can you ping 10.147.18.124 from the remote end where 192.168.88.1 ping is failing?
You might want to try adding zerotier1 to the LAN interface-list and/or post your config. /ip/route/print be useful to see as well.

Also might want to make sure the remote ZT client is getting a 10.147.18.X address and has the routes listed under “Managed Routes” in mobile/desktop app.

Looks like everything is Ok now.
Problem were vmware virtual network adapters… as always. Never understand why the driver of these network adapters is creating such problems.
After deactivate, everything is reachable.

For completeness
Hap AX Lite LTE is arm, so 32 bit.

The website shows the Architecture as 64-bit, and unclear on the “bit-ness” of RouterOS…

Yeah they’re all virtual interfaces, so room for conflict I’m sure. Although they should all play nicely… Are you sure nothing has duplicate MAC or IP between the VMWare interface?
