Hello,

For a new house in a region without cable or DSL connection I already bougth the ATL 5G modem/router.
I wondered what is the best extra Mikrotik hardware for a decent and affordable network?
Should I invest in an extra router or not necessary ? So yes? Witch one?
What switch is great to add extra 4 access points (3 in + 1 external) via POE, 2 or 3 POE cams, connection for solar, wall car charger, domotics, ... and some extra network connections in the house (TV, ...)
SHould I go for a switch with 2,5GB of just 1GB ports as the 5G router is a 1GB port.

If you don't have a clear idea yourself, suggestions are useless.
Draw a precise diagram of what you want to achieve in the end.

Hello

Basically the ATL 5G can act as a router, too so you don’t need an a other router. For switching, CSS610-8P-2S+IN is the best for you, has POE out ports for cameras. If you don’t plan now more than 8 wired devices, it will be fine. You can uy 2,5G switch, but if your internet connection is below 2,5Gbps, it is absolutely unnecessary.
