I need urgent help. I have two towers that each have basestation. Tower B is connected to Tower A via a CPE. The cpe on Tower B then connects to a switch. then the basestation on Tower B is connected to the same switch to extend internet to other users. when both the CPE and the Basestation are connected, it works well with 587ms average then after a while it jumps to 1400ms then timeouts… when I unplug the basestation, the internet on the CPE is back to normal less than 600ms… when I connect basestation, the net jumps from 600 to over 2000ms then back… it flactuates badly. what could be the problem? I have tried changing the switch and even using a linksys router with no much difference. please help…
Have a Point to Point link from Tower A to Tower B. Using a CPE to recieve along with other clients is causing the high latency at 2.4 GHz. 587ms or 600ms is itself very high latency for surfing internet. Get it below 10 ms to make the users on Tower B surf well.
maybe is interference or HTB bad configuration. I guess is interference issue, try to use another cleaner channel, or try channel shifting or another frequency
