Hi,
I have just received my new E50UG hex refresh and wanted to setup the device. ssh and winbox can connect to 192.168.88.1 without any issues (and I receive an IP over DHCP).
On the back of the router is a username and password (admin and a long password) but that does not work. I have tried a factory reset, I have tried empty password or just “admin”. Nothing works so far.
Any suggestions?
Ok after looking at the password I tried an O instead of a zero. Some smart guy at Mikrotik though it would be a good idea to use a font where O and 0 look identical. Please @Mikrotik, improve the labels on the back, either make sure there are no ambigous characters used or change the font.
Its the basic user test, if you cannot get passed the password, you dont quality to use MT products! 
Yep, and by choosing Mikrotik there is the added value of saving on an optician test: you need reading glasses.
