Hello guys.
I’m interested in getting the above model and wondering if layer 3 setting on both ports is possible?as I need layer 3 routing in my network, and not vlans. sfp would be isp ip, and eth0 inside net…
Cheers!

Not sure which port you mean by “eth0” as Mikrotik’s ethernet interfaces are named “ether1, ether2, …” but regardless, it is easy to have ports as isloated layer3 ports in Mikrotik. Just make sure that they’re not part of any master/slave switch groups (v6.40.5 and earlier) and are not configured as ports on any bridge.
The block diagram (https://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/RB960PGS-161220141841.png) for the hEX PoE shows that sfp1 is not part of the same hw-switch group as the other interfaces, anyway, so as long as you don’t have it in the same bridge with the ethernet interfaces, then the connectivity will be done at layer 3.
