hEX PoE WAN to LAN NAT Speed

Hi everyone!

I’m thinking about purchasing a hEX PoE (RB960PGS), but i am unsure if it will be able to handle my 1 Gb/s internet connection. I’m not going to do anything fancy, no VLAN, no special firewall rules, no DMZ, probably no QoS. I’d basically just use it like any consumer home router with NAT and SPI firewall turned on.
Can anyone confirm that i’ll be able to achieve something close to 950 Mbit/s with NAT (and Fasttrack) turned on?
There are some posts out there that suggest it should work, other that say it doesn’t (mostly older posts), that i’d need at least an CCR1009, which is way too much for my use.

Thanks for the info. I thought they were different CPU, i didn’t know Qualcomm bought Atheros.
