High pings on Lan

Hello, can any one put some light on this particular issue bothering my network? i have been noticing that recently i have been having high pings to all my APs located both outside my NOC and at the NOC itself. This pings could be as high as 2000ms and above thus creating sluggish browsing even when i have enough bandwidth to spare. Could this problem be due to the fact that i have two routers running two IP levels on the Lan? One of the router’s ip pool is 192.168.10.0/24 while the other is 172.18.17.0/24. The former has dhcp active while the latter hasn no DHCP activated. Could this also constitute any problem?

I have switched frequencies and it realy doesnt make much difference. Please some one help me.

Or will my using 5.8ghz as backhauls help reduce this as i am currently using 2.4ghz as backhaul point to point to my outside APS.

Regards to all

What exactly you are pinging and from where ?
Note, that latency is normal behavior of the congested link (if users are using bandwidth a lot, if there are queue that are limiting the traffic and they are red).

You asked what iam i pinging and from where?

Its pinging my APs withing the same subnet. Tha is pinging from my NOC to one of my AP about 3km away. Or pinging from a clients place to the connected AP. The pings tend to be very high. Please read my first topic for clearity.

How this is related to User Manager ?
Make sure you do not have congestion on the links, pings are going trough.
