Home device with low idle power consumption

Simply put i have place in rural area where i have cameras and few other wifi devices. Most of time these devices are in idle until i connect remotely.
Curent setup is LTE outdoor unit > Wi-fi router > Hikvision DVR + Wi-fi cameras (2,4ghz only)
Until now i used old hAP lite to do job as Wireguard VPN to connect here and provide wifi signal for cameras for 2,5w/hour when idle.
Sadly hAP life cycle enden and now i put here old tp-link wifi router just to get cloud access (no wireguard)

Now i have bought Hap ax3 to test it. With disabled Wi-Fi 5Ghz and cpu on 0% usage, it take 7,5w/hour when idle. As beast ax3 is, it not suit my needs.
I also tested my old Hex S which is on 4w/hour but with separate AP to cover wifi we are about 5-6w/hour combined.

Is there solution similar to original hap Lite in terms of low energy consumption? if posible i want to device arm based for new features as “Back to Home” or “zerotier”.

I found:
Hap AX lite - Similar to original but there are rewies pointing out poor performance - zero info about power consumption
Hap AX2 - Seems like litle beast but price is very high compared to Hap ax3 and many people on forum say it is better buy more performing AX3 - only one info about reaching 5w/hour after everything disabled.
Is there any other devices what i should consider?

Note: LTE unit from ISP cannot be changed - i had that idea to buy Mikrotik LTE unit, sadly my ISP said big no no, so here i am

Experince from owners of this devices will be very welcomed.

Definitely have a look again at hAP AX Lite.

I have both AX Lite and AX Lite LTE.
The latter one I could power using a 10.000 mAh power bank for AT LEAST 10 hours (and then I had to stop because I had to leave. Battery was still not dead).
So regular AX Lite will do better.

Have a look at this thread where some users did power measurements on the LTE version.
So without LTE, it can only get better.

Input voltage: 5.08V
Current draw: 0.478A
Power draw: 2,428W

Don’t make any wrong assumptions on AX Lite only having 2GHz AX wifi.
I can get close to 400Mbps through that little bugger (if your client device properly supports AX).

Hap ax lite is a good candidate, I have regular and lte version, measured 2.5w (5v, 0,5A draw) at idle on regular version, no wifi devices connected, one wire connected (additional eth connection consumes +0.3w) - so in line what was already mentioned. Very close to hap lite, at least in idle. Or you can use lte version if you have enough coverage for it and take down lte device and change ISP if they have issues whit this. That modem can push over 100mbps if signal is good easily.

Performance on hap ax lite is fine, will suite your needs. I have wg tunnel whit vxlan to my portable kit (hap ax lite lte6) and I can push full lte6 speed that I can get at home, tested 55mbps down whit one of cores at 80%, so it can push more. Zero tier ir more resources demanding, did only 15-20mbps whit one of cpu cores at 100%. Arm performance is good, even on low end 800mhz per core ones. Wifi wise 4.3dbi antenna is basically x3 more powerful than hap lite, and ax devices on 20mhz wide channel can push up to 140mbps, so in line whit lte modem used in lte version. So I recommend hap ax lite.
