Hello!
I was given a Mikrotik Routerboard RB750GR2 and was told it could be set up to restrict access like i want, but im completey new to this and a bit confused.
I have a medium sized home network with several servers and several personal computers. What I want is the following:
- Allow only servers to get out to internet aswell as getting their external IP from ISP DHCP server (specifyable with either MAC or LAN IP list)
- Allow non-servers to get internet access ONLY via LAN gateway (which is a server that should get internet access)
- Block DHCP requests from non-servers to ISP DHCP server (they should be getting IP from the one on my LAN, the LAN DHCP is set to ignore servers so they get their IP from ISP)
- … anything i missed…
