In my Mikrotik, IP - Hotspot - Hosts list I am able to see the connection with the some of the MAc address infornt i can able to see some of the letters like AH,H,D. I hope
AH - means " the users are all authenticated through My radius Server
H- means "the users are created in the Mikrotik Router itself
what about “D” ? Is that they are all from the outside network who can use like a Open Proxy ?
Kindly clarify -Find the attachment for more reference.
AH mean ACTIVE HOST = which logged in through Username & password
H mean HOST = which is connected to hotspot but not loggedd in yet
D mean DYNAMIC = eighter before geeting IP from you hotspot user already assigned ip to his LAN connection or STATIC IP
AH or AD mean ACTIVE HOST or ACTIVE DYNAMIC = which is logged in through Username & password
H mean HOST = which is connected to hotspot but not loggedd in yet
D mean DYNAMIC = eighter before geeting IP from you hotspot user already assigned ip to his LAN connection or STATIC IP
always consider “to address”
you can also select address per MAC and address poll in hotspot sever, reboot and check, your problem may get resolved
See the above how the same mac address getting these there IP"s & my dhcp series is 192.168.215.X?
The same Mac is showing AH & D also. If I trace the Public IP (157.56.52.22) it’s belongs to Microsoft Corp.
Whenever the D indication is coming most the time they are in public IP(157.56.52.22), I thought some one is hacking my Router From Internet.
Is that any possibility like that?
