hotel with 12 access points inside

*hellow every body
someone asked me about presentation internet service to a small hotel .. this hotel consist of 12 rooms.the hotel owner want an access
point in each room .so when a visitor is found in the room .he can use internet servise in any place within the room .
my plan is buying/

1- wireless device to get internet service from some isp near the hotel

2- a router with ppoe client system

2- switch with 14 ports

4- 12 access points

now i will set the wirless devise as a station&wds mode with the isp.after connection with the isp .i connect the wireless device with
the router .put the username and password that the isp gave me in the ppoe client system of the router to establish a broadband connetion with isp
after that i will connect the router with the switch ..now the switch connected with 12 access points

now ..my dear friends ..my question is
we know that each access point have an ip address like 192.168.1.254
have i change the ip addresses of the access points to another values like// 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.12 ?
or i must put the ip address of each access point as it he.

can some one help me

The IP of the access point is just for you monitoring purpose…
It,s can different with the internet access user IP range.

if u leave same IP it will conflict. and why station wds u can use “universal repeater” present in many access points and u don’t need a switch. Definitely u will have to keep all the Access points powered ON to successfully deploy universal repeater but then u don’t need to run cables to every access point.

thank for both my dear friends…but suppose you would like to access the settings of the access point no.10 through the switch
in this case i think i have to change all the ip addresses of the access points i mean i have to give AP no.i address like 192.168.1.1
an go on to AP no.12 which have address 192.168.1.12
is that correct?

with so much thanks to all friends

it is better if u have different ip for each access point. then configuring each one separately becomes easy. but then again ur usage of switch and cables is not what we normally do in hotels. we have done a 40 room hotel with just about 8 - 9 access points. and there r no cables running in between the access points.

indeed thank you very much
my dear friend
